When I first decided to create my own home haunt I realized that it would be nice to have something to set the front entrance apart from the standard doorway or simple opening in plastic sheeting. Combining a couple of ideas I had gotten from Halloween-L list members in early '97 including Bob Andrews' cemetery gate he had built in '96 (which started the whole cemetery fence craze), I hoped to create an entrance unlike any I had seen before. Largely inspired by the Andrews gate, here's what came of the journey that ensued, as re-written in 2004.
